When I was in a High School, my art teacher told me:
"If you want something , try to make it realize by print it out and put it on a place, where you can see it everyday. Don't forget to always trying, keep optimistic and God will show you the way"
Since that day, I printed out the picture of Canon 1000D and Macbook that I got from internet and sticked it at the wall beside my bed so I can see it everyday. I know it is impossible to ask my mother other father to bought me those two expensive things, but I'm trying to keep optimistic.
On May 2009, I borrowed my sister's camera and took a part in a Photography Contest that held by one of the famous University in Indonesia. July 2009, I won my first Photography Contest. I was in a second place and got a money as a price. Since that day, I'm trying to save more money so I can buy a camera as soon as possible.
4 Months later (June 2009) , I got my first camera : CANON 450D (with some help from my mother and father). And God really made my dream came true, on December 2009 I got my Macbook Pro as a birthday present from my mother.
I've spending 4 years together with my 450D and sometimes I felt that I really need a new camera, which has a more feature and higher quality picture. But it is so hard to make it real. It becomes harder because my mom had passed away and since that time I have to get a part time job to full filled my life as a student here.
Once, when my friend Stefan went back to Indonesia, my sister gave me a replica of 5d Mark II as a USB- Stick.
God is really good, in Sommer 2011 i got a full time job at a Chocolate Factory. The salary was twice bigger as when I worked in Cafe or Restaurant. I kept those money and on September 2011 I bought my first Canon L-series Lens 24-70mm 1:2,8L USM on ebay (auction price) . The normal price in Germany was 1100 - 1300 Euro, but I got it for a half price ;;) . And I kept the rest of money on my Bank and every month I saved almost 1/4 of my salary so one day I can buy a new camera.
Last December, my boyfriend went to Indonesia and USD was getting lower. It effected to the price from camera and than I thought it was the right time for me to buy it!!! In Germany, everything about camera and it Accesorries are really expenssive so I think it will be better if I buy it in Indonesia.
31th December 2011, I got my new love, my canon 5d Mark II.
It was unforgetable memory. Finally I bought a new camera and lens with my own money :D *I can't stop smiling* :)))))))
I just want to share some, for you all, who dreaming of having something or going somewhere, but you didn't have enough money or etc, follow the suggestion from my teacher. Print the picture of it or bought some replica, put it into the place so you can see it everyday. Believe on me, it really bring some positive effect. We don't know how or when God will help us to make it realize, but at least we have focused and know the things that we really need.
