life lately

Hello everyone hehe

I'm very happy receiving an Email from my Prof, which said there's no class tommorow. So I got a time to update my blog. hehe. So how's everything doing?
Mine is pretty good. The University light is quiet smooth, I just have to finish making my presentation this week . And because my class is only about 23 people (yeah that really happen on the Kunstschule in Germany . In each course we only have 18 - 25 ppl :P), I have no chance to skip my class.

And this is my second week working in Vapiano Bochum. I'm just in love with my job. I've learn so much Birgyda (the senior workers at Vapiano), she gave a me a Tips, so I can improve myself better than before.
Before we start working, there will always an meeting. The manager & workers gathering  and last week I got a compliment from my Boss because she taught that I'm doing very well tough I'm quite new there. This week I begin to working without accompany, but Birgyda comes every 1 hour to make sure that everythings good. I'm so glad to have her working with me. :)

I am very happy because tonight I can finally write a post (although I am a bit tired hehehe). Remembering that two weeks ago that I have in mind just a scared. I just can't go to sleep everynight and asked myself if I can really make it or not.  Yeah I got a problem with my mother's belonging. She  left my sister's and me a lot of things but it's now misused by the member of my family. I just hope that I can collect enough money to bring that things back, because that is the only thing left I have from my mommy. Pray for me, won't you? :")
I got so many support from my friends and I just can't say enough thank you to them. I'm now believe that my sister and I can get through this situation. And I know, God will never give us a problem beyond the limits of our abilities.
Complaining will not solve the problem, instead adding to the burden of the problem itself. One friend of mine once said, if we are too anxious and think that we can not, then that's what will really happen. Therefore, positive thinking can also be a positive impact to solve the problem or at least give us a way out.

hv a great night everyone <3

I'm not doing a diet, I'm just changing my lifestyle

I finally found the right title that suits to the content of this post. Hehe.

When I returned to Indonesia in this summer, my family and friends were surprised by my weight loss.
Back to the High school, my weight has always been at the rate 60kg. I think it's already overweight because I only 160cm tall.
After that, began to life in Germany with a new environment and food, facing a lot of  problems, I was successfully gained up 5kg. Can you imagine that?
Then in November last year I was back in to the 61kg. (working at the vegetarian store makes me only eat a whole grain bread and salad almost every day hehe)  I also didn't eat rice and never eat up to 6 pm. But I still did not do any exercise.

Later, after I came back from America in this Spring and finished my German course, I have a lot of free time. My activity on that time was just preparing my portfolio for college entrance tests. I don't really remember where did I got this idea, but later I went to visit 2 gym and ask about the package they are offering.

Finally I chose Mcfit, at a cost of around 17 euros per month and they have a fitness studio in almost every town in Germany. Since that time I began to do an exercise at least 3 times a week with a combination of basic Gerät training. I eat three times a day. I eat bread / musli in the morning, a small portion of rice or salad for lunch and salad for dinner. I changed my snack with fruits like banana and apple.  I am back to eating rice because I my bf always asked me to made an  Asian or Indonesian food. hehe. But I feel a lot of changed in my body, especially in my arms, thigh and stomach. They became smaller and well formed.

After that I returned to Indonesia and learn the business with my mentor. A full day activity made my weight down to 56kg. I was very surprised, because I really ate a lot of delicious food when I was there and do less exercise. I only went to the Gym 2 times, because the studio not so far from there was dirty and uncomfortable. The last 2 weeks I spent with my family and David's family actually gained my weight up to 58kg again, haha, I did nothing beside EATING. My grandma and my aunty are really a good chef and I was really treated by them.

And now, back to Germany, began with the Uni life, doing exercise regulary and eat 3 times a day, I'm 57kg right now, wearing S/ 36 european size for my clothes and pants, 34 or XS for Jacket/ outwears.  I'm just happy with by body weight. Because I didn't do any diet. I do the exercise because I realize that is really important if I want to life healthier. I still took musli or whole grain bread for breakfast (and of course a cup of green tea), I continue to eat rice/pasta for lunch and sometimes also for dinner. But mostly I eat salad with balsamico dressing for dinner. And I made a cake one or two times a week. If you checkout my my food diary too, I never use an instant ingredients. Beside it's contain a lot of preservative, I think it is more delicious for having a food that we made ourselfs. There's nothing happier, than enjoying a good & healthy food without worrying about your body weight. :D

Many of my friends have been asking me if I took a weight loss program or something like that. My answer is BIG NO.  I have once took a weight loss package from Herbalife, but it don't really works on me. I don't know if that gonna works on you, because some of my friend have tried and successfully lost their weight. But the price is too expensive for me and I'm truly happy living my life like this and I'd love to spent my money to buy my drawing materials, food or clothes :P

so all I can say is:
- Take a regular exercise , at least 3 times a week. A small cardio exercise / jogging and sit up could make a big impact . Trust me :D
- Know your portion, so you won't eat too much or too less
- Drink a LOOOOTT of plenty water, me myself can drink more than 3L a day, so make sure you have a bottel of mineral water wherever you go
- Don't eat to much junk food and less soda
- Fry less, bake more
- Try to love vegetables and fruits. They are truly by best friend hehe, especially broccoli and apple.
- Have a strong passion and make your goal.  you want to change your look? life healthier? or what?
The passion must come inside from your heart, yourself. Don't ever change because you're shy or frustrated of the other people's opinion, but change because you want it ;)

and last but not least... BE CONFIDENT !

I hope this post will answer some of the questions that my friend's have been asking for :)

Have a good night ppl <3

First post in November

Hallo everyone. This is a pretty cold night, when I finally get a chance to write this post. I just can't stop thanking God,for a lot of good things happening in my life since last week.
So, how was your Halloween day? David and me went to Johan and Sasmia's home. We laugh, discuss about our new plan, eating (a lot) and watch a movie. I don't really celebrate the Halloween's day. Heheh, but last night when David and me walked along the street and saw many people with their unique costume, we just suddenly thinking that maybe next year we should celebrate the halloween too! :P

So, I finally got a part time job! With the help of my friend, Johan, I get the opportunity to do a training work in a well-known Italian restaurant in Germany, called Vapiano. I spent 6 hours over two days and I was accepted! I am serving the salad.Actually, I signed up as a service-kraft, but after an interview with the manager of the restaurant, he gave me my chance to work on the salad.
The most I like about this job is that I get a chance to interact with customers. Because at Vapiano, we are making the orders such as salads, pizza and pasta made in front of customers. So cleanliness and ability to communicate well is really a big point.

Then with Uni life, I actually do not get a lot of tasks and a full class, not like my other friends who studying Medical, Technik or Economy . But that makes me crazy is one of the subjects named "Grundlage BWL und Recht". I do not have the basic knowledge about it. and it takes patience to read the script. so pray for me, ok? hehehe.

When I'm lazy to study this subjects, I just went back to the past few months, when I decided to studying at this University. At the most Uni, majors of Graphic Design or Communication Design only teaches the students the technical things of the design like making that things with this software and this thing with that software and usually lead them straight to the point: "you will end up of being a designer and work for the other person". Later, at the beginning of semester 4 the students can choose whether they want to take the depth of photography, animation or others. In my University, we have a two choices: Application Design (same like the other Campus) or Business Magement and Communication. So that's the reason why I also get courses BWL, bussines english, and consumer physicology.

I really like to draw, take pictures or learn to design something, just like any other design students. But I just do not want to make it as my profession in the future. I can not imagine sitting at a computer working until late at night and leaving my family at home. I think it would be great if I have both: design skill and also business knowledge that hopefully would be useful in my future :D
